The LaundryPro is very easy to connect to any brand of washing machine between the cold water tap and the washing machine. The technology was developed by NASA for long-term use in space and further developed by Aerus (formerly Electrolux USA). The LaundryPro is designed for both domestic and commercial use (healthcare facilities, hospitality, etc.).

Sustainable washing
The LaundryPro combines all contemporary wishes/requirements regarding sustainability, environmental friendliness, health and savings. The history of this unique device lies in NASA's development for purifying air in enclosed spacecraft. Further development of that technology by industry has resulted in a range of air purification devices that are used both as stand alone units and for installation. The RCI technology in it, a nano technology for killing off airborne microbial pollutants, is designed after nature's processes: all that is consumed are compounds of the elements hydrogen and oxygen, which are processed without residues into human-friendly peroxides, superions, and hydrogen radicals, among others. All of them together in a mix eliminate harmful microbiological hazards such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Persons susceptible to these, especially babies and very young children but also adults with allergies or with respiratory diseases (e.g., asthma), benefit greatly from that technology. Also industry and science (especially the laboratory sector) but also healthcare, hospitality, middle class (hairdressers, physiotherapy, doctor's and dentist's offices, health centers etc., use this technology to do their work with confidence on good disinfection.Again with the help of NASA, this RCI technology for air purification has also been converted to use in water. No detergent, no fabric softener
The addition of extra oxygen molecules in the water causes strong oxidation (read combustion). It removes contaminants in clothing, towels, tea towels, sheets and pillowcases, etc. in an environmentally neutral way. And oxygen leaves no residue. It may be necessary to use a small amount of soap in some heavily soiled laundry (e.g. work clothes) to get it completely clean. Then take only 1/8th part, or 15%. No more! And use neutral, natural soap.
How sustainable?

No hot water
To make soap and detergents dissolve faster, energy is needed in addition to water: only dissolved soap can do its job. And that is best dissolved in hot water. Therefore, if you need little or no soap (i.e. when using the New LaundryPure), the demand for energy to heat water is also zero. After all, oxygen does its job just as well in both cold and lukewarm water. And the New LaundryPure itself actively uses only 25W/h. How sustainable?

Less water
Because no soap is used and thus only the dirt in the textiles is addressed, it is no longer necessary to separate colored and white laundry. However, it is better to hand wash new clothes (think e.g. heavily dye-treated jeans) the first time. You did that anyway, because that pink colored white underwear after the first wash of that beautiful red sweater was not a success anyway....... In short; colored and white laundry can simply go together, making separate washing, sometimes with only a half-full drum, a thing of the past.
How sustainable?

No burden on the environment
We already read: chemical pollution from soap and detergents as well as energy consumption are minimized. It has not yet been mentioned that the lack of chemical additives or hot water keeps the fibers fleecy longer. It has even been proven that towels, which were thin and hard from age and chemical contamination in the fibers, felt a lot fluffier after about 12 to 15 washes, and dried better. Even the pollution built up over years had disappeared because of the nano technology, and the natural strength was restored. The same goes for dyes: they are essentially affected by the chemistry used in soap. If you don't use those, colors are also much less affected. In short: colors remain more beautiful and fibers remain more resilient, so your textiles wear out less. How sustainable?

Healthy washing
Chemical contaminants. The environment we are in requires constant vigilance regarding our physical health. It depends in part on how and how much we exercise, what food we ingest, what and how much we drink, what air we breathe, etc. There are people who react fiercely to ingredients in food, drinks, or inhaled air. Their allergy may be inherited. Many times, however, it has developed throughout their lives, with the starting point at a young age. Skin contact with certain substances can also affect our well-being: creams, powders, soaps and lotions sometimes have unpleasant side effects such as red spots, bumps, watery eyes, burning skin, itching. They are caused by chemicals that act differently on each skin. Some of these substances are so active that they penetrate the skin, are transported with the blood, complete their unpleasant action, and then are disposed of. although they can also be sequestered in glands or organs. By applying these agents to our skin, we can upset the natural balance. This also applies to detergents left in our clothing: during the wearing of the clothing, these substances are released and can then be absorbed by the skin. The New LaundryPure does not require detergents. The substances from those soaps etc. are therefore not stored in the fibers, and the risk of allergy formation or temporary allergic reactions is therefore virtually zero.

Biological contamination
Without noticing it, we are surrounded by a large amount of bacteria. Most of them are perfectly necessary to make our lives pleasant, or even possible. A few species, however, make our lives miserable. For example, we are talking about odor bacteria that can be the cause of unwanted body odor such as sweat (armpits, feet, etc). But it can be worse: there are people who have allergies (inherited or developed) that partially spoil their daily lives. Skin problems, poor circulation, disturbed digestion, overloaded organs, etc are the result. Many times, accumulation of bacteria in the fibers of clothes, towels, sheets and pillowcases, etc is the culprit. Ordinary detergents fall short in removing microbiological contamination, and then usually a cooking program is the last resort. The New LaundryPure has a technique copied from nature, further developed to solve those problems: odor bacteria are completely eliminated without detergent or bleach: the New LaundryPure combines the power of its revolutionary RCI technology with the cleaning power of enriched oxygen. This releases dirt from the fibers, and stops the multiplication of odor-causing bacteria. Test Data
Test Data on Bacterial Reduction A test was done by the U.S. National Science Foundation NSF which found that LaundryPure gives a very remarkable reduction in microbiological contamination when used in a standard washing machine. Here many organisms were tested for, three of which are shown in the right-hand column. The technology of the New LaundryPure has been further developed and its results are even more versatile than imagined due to the RCI technology. Hard stains, as always, require pretreatment. And if you have occasional very dirty laundry, adding 1/8 of the amount of detergent used previously is sufficient, whether or not combined, as an exception, with the 30-degree program instead of cold water. If you still think your laundry should come out of the drum smelling, for your health use a water-soluble fragrance in the final rinse. Experience shows that generous use of water when washing in combination with theNew LaundryPure has a very positive effect.

- Staphylococcus
Gram-positive globular bacteria that lie together in grape clusters. They are found in everyone's skin flora. Staphylococcus aureus is known to cause wound infections and food poisoning by99.9999%.
- Klebsiella pneumoniae
A mucus-forming enterobacteria that can cause various (hospital) infections by99.9999%
- Pseudomonas aeruginosa
A bacterium that is widely distributed. When conditions permit, for example reduced resistance due to illness, injuries, infections caused by: wound infection (especially burns), cystitis, respiratory tract, eye infection, reduction by 99%.

Save money
For an average family with two children, the purchase of the New LaundryPure will pay for itself in two years: no hot water is needed, no detergent is added, fur and whites can usually be washed together, so fewer washes (read "water") are needed. Moreover, the often expensive clothing is much less subject to wear and tear by (chemical) detergents; no allergenic residues can remain in the fabric. The colors are saved and the fibers remain more resilient. You save money. The New LaundryPure relieves the environment of polluting soap and detergents. It also requires less energy, so there are fewer CO2 emissions. Moreover, the RCI nano technology makes short work of other chemical- and especially bacteriological pollution from the clothes.

But you also save costs: you virtually avoid buying soap and detergents, wash less often because white and fur can go together, and hardly any water needs to be heated.

Soap and/or Detergent
On average, soap and/or detergent worth about 25 to 34 cents are used per wash. Let's go on the frugal side, and assume 27 cents.

Energy costs
Heating washing water costs energy, and this is in accordance with current rates*.
Keep in mind that they are bound to rise:

- For laundry at 15° C, energy costs are about 5 ct
- For laundry at 30° C 8 ct
- At 40° C wash 12 ct
- At 60° C wash 21 ct
- At 90° C wax 35 ct

Number of washes:
The calculation assumes a family of 4 people including 2 children. The number of washes per week is on average 15, but let's say 650 per year.(=12.5 times/wk)

Wear and tear
There are no records of it, but remember that wear and tear also occurs: to both washing machine and clothes. A service for the washing machine outside the warranty period quickly costs € 150. Also clothes, towels, sheets, etc. wear out more due to the use of hot water and soap and detergents. Without exaggeration, one can assume €50 per year associated with these costs.

Savings per year
Using the New LaundryPure, the above data in a calculation gives the following cost picture:
Detergent:650 washes x € 0,27 = € 175,50 per year
Energy costs:650 washes x € 0,12 = € 78,50 per year
Wear costs and other: € 50.00 per year

So you save €304.00 per year!
